Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using WidgetJar (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account & Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Plans, Billing & Refunds

The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Refunds are issued at our discretion and generally limited to duplicate or fraudulent charges. Plan limits (page views, widgets, workspaces) are enforced at the account level.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Distribute malware, phishing content, illegal content or content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Send unsolicited communications (spam) or harvest data without proper consent
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Bypass or attempt to bypass plan limits, quota enforcement or security controls
• Use the Service to build a competing product

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to content you upload or create through the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service. You are solely responsible for Your Content and warrant that you have all necessary rights to it.

6. Intellectual Property

WidgetJar, the WidgetJar logo and all underlying software, designs and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title or interest in our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a manner that may cause harm to us, other users or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Istanbul, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
